Honorato Ruiz
He began his film career in 2015 and has since developed projects as a director, screenwriter, and editor. A graduate in Cinematography and Editing from ESCAC, his work spans fiction, documentary, music videos, and advertising.
Over the years, he has combined his personal projects with post-production work for film, television, and music. He has collaborated with names such as Mar Coll, Aina Clotet, David Victori, Rosana Pastor, Queralt Lahoz, Álex Serra, and Sigfrid Monleón. Some of his short films, such as "A mitad camino" (Halfway There), "Como en casa" (Like Home), and "Qué será, será" (What Will Be, Will Be), have garnered dozens of selections and awards at national and international festivals. He was also chosen to direct and film the official music video for "El calor del amor en un bar" (The Heat of Love in a Bar), the iconic song by Gabinete Caligari, for Warner Music. He has served on juries for the Cinema Jove festival in Valencia and the Humans Fest. His project "David vs. Goliath" was selected for the festival's incubator and mentored by Estíbaliz Urresola. He is currently developing future projects as a director.
