Biofilmography

Joel Hukki is a Finnish filmmaker based between Helsinki and Prague. He holds a BA in Audiovisual Media from the Baltic Film and Media School (BFM) and is currently completing an MFA in Film Directing at FAMU in Prague.

​

He is driven by a curiosity about people, the spaces between them, and the quiet, intimate moments that leave room for observation and reflection. He has honed his approach through workshops with filmmakers such as Béla Tarr. He is currently developing his first feature screenplay.
